Default Stilt at First Light (again)

I'm sure everyone's had about enough of the stilts. I promise I'll change it up after this one. Local treatment plant, right as the sun came over the trees. For whatever reason, these birds are very hard to get the far wing in a favorable position. Cropped to a 16x9. All C&C appreciated.

It's hard to get tired of stilts, Lyle. Along with Avocets, they rank way up there in my list of favorites. Nice control of whites here and a very pleasing BG. You've managed to maintain detail in the underwing, tough on these guys. Good job!

I mentioned it before, you are getting better and better with these Stilts. Nice exposure control and detail on this one and the pose is pleasing. Great BG tops off a real keeper.
Funny to look at your images from the treatment plant, they remind me of a similar place I used to shoot Stilts, all of them have muck on their legs. Well done

Stilt are also high on my list, lovely BIF with upright wings. I also like the dark BG, nicely done.

Beautiful light in this shot and the darker background makes the bird pop, well done!

I like the light, head turn overall pose and sharpness, Lyle.

Lovely colors and inflight pose. Maybe it's just my monitor, but I think just a tad more contrast would make the bird pop a bit more. It seems a bit soft, but still lovely.

You have a very nice BG at this site Lyle, no wonder you take advantage of it.
The bird looks very nice, nicely exposed and a nice pano crop.

Great flight shot, with beautiful colors in the bg and gorgeous first light. The bird feels just a tad soft to me. I like the 16:9 comp.
