    Default Grasshopper Sparrow.

This image shows a typical pose (other than the singing) of this sparrow.
It also shows more of the perch chosen by the bird.
Other than that, it is the same sparrow I posted a couple of days ago.
    Thanks for looking.

Beautiful light, bird, and pose. I think the OOF vegetation adds. Choice of comp. is great for this perch. Only thing I'd do is clone out some of the perch beneath the tail.

This is nice Karl. Great detail on the bird but the perch, BG and the comp make this for me. Very pleasing to look at. Well done

Stunning comp and light Karl. I love the small bird in the frame, the perch is beautiful too, nicely done.

Beautiful light in this image and nice composition. The leaves in the bottom left corner are a bit distracting but at the same time it makes the image look really natural.

Terrific comp, Karl. Having the bird small in the frame is the way I normally visualize these elusive guys. This captures him very nicely, and in beautiful light. (Out of curiosity, did you use audio? His pose makes him look slightly perturbed.)

Thanks Bill. Yes I used short calls just a few times.
Interestingly it flew back to his favorite perch when I stopped the audio.

Love it! I like the bird in the environment, the dock plant makes a super perch. I appreciate it may be the time of day the image was captured but perhaps it is just a tad rich in yellows?? I attach an alternative for your consideration.
