Beautiful bird captured very well here Frank. Light quality is very nice. Just the right amount of perch included imo. Background is well controlled and has a sweet gradient. Frankly, the only possible way the image could have been improved at the time of capture is if the bird had turned it's head slightly towards you. Excellent image sir.

Stunning sharpness, good looking perch and a great smooth BG. Wish for a slightly better head angle but still like the image as presented, nice work.

Hi Frank, I can see where this fellow gets his name from. I like the light and the overall feather detail on the bird stands out nicely. Killer BG.

Just lovely, Frank. I love the perch and the background, and of course the beautiful bird. I'm a sucker for profile shots, but I suppose just the tiniest of head turns would have put this over the top.

Beautiful Frank, sharp and lovely exposure, light is extra nice. Nice natural perch atop the bush as well, great clean profile shot and smooth backdrop....not much room for improvement on this one

Seeing so may nice songbird shots lately. I am not sure if my screen is showing this right but is the bird cut off at the end? If so I am wishing for the rest of the bird. You captured the great blue color and some nice detail Frank

Wonderful pose, the tail appears to be clipped at the tip, otherwise an excellent pose and composition.
