Oriental Darter
Just back from the Kinabatangan River in Borneo. The Oriental Darter is a commonly found bird that can be seen perched along the river banks to dry itself in the sun. The large bird dives into the river and go almost completely underneath with neck above the water to catch fish.

Interesting looking bird and action. Head looks sharp and I like the water coming off of him. Nice work.

While I generally like blurred wings, in this case I would have preferred a higher shutter speed.
