    Default The Awakening Female Peregrine

    Taken the other week,took this because it had atmosphere,it was in the shade early morning,the sun was just coming up,and caught the peregrines' head the BG was a bit darker,and looks more atmospheric,but has gone lighter after up load,comments good or bad thanks.cannon500mm IS LF4,tripod,7D,f5.6,ISO1250,1/1000S,CROPPED,SHARPENENED,some bird lime removed off rock.

    This image has a "cool " factor with the sunlight hitting the face like a spotlight.
    Some noise in BG and in an ideal world it would be nicer to have a tighter crop but I imagine this was not possible or you would have done it already!!

    Hi Chris, the head turn and the light cast on the head puts this up a few notches. I do like the surrounding BG as posted, but agree there is noise visible.

    Chris another super shot, I love the mood and the setting, maybe some NR on the background but I think this is a pretty exceptional shot - should do well in competition I reckon.

    Love the spotlight effect and the habitat. I'm not bothered by the noise but it's easy enough to remove. I might crop away the black area on the right of the frame, taking a little off the top and bottom to balance things out.
