If you hadn't mentioned the chick, I wouldn't have seen it b/c it's so well camouflaged. Absolutely killer behavior/action here, Troy. The blue as a backdrop is just gorgeous and these birds are just so artistic. I just wish for a little more eye on the top bird which would have put this one over the top. Well handled!

Great behavior and audience! Nicely controlled whites and good detail. Agree with Marina about the eye contact.

Handheld from a rocking boat...really good stuff here! I enjoy all the visuals here even more than the previous image. The chick is quite ambigious, it is a good thing you mention it, though the chick is still a great feature to the image despite it's small role. The interaction between the adults is sweet. How is this courtship behavior?

Pretty sweet. Excellent interaction, and I too would have missed the little one had it not been mentioned. I agree about the eye on the top bird. The grasses at left add a lot to the image.

Great behavior captured, nice comp and exposure. I, too, would have missed the chick; a nice addition. Also agree about the eye.
