    Default Northern Harrier Juvenile

I just returned from a week in San Francisco with my wife, and among other things we squeezed in an afternoon of photography with Arash. This was taken at a Harrier nest, and the juvenile was just learning how to fly. It was a really fun afternoon, and the sushi and whiskey later that evening wasn't bad either!

    Doug:

Very sharp, excellent light, nice color match in background.

Perhaps a tiny sliver tight on the right.

    Cheers

Hi Doug, great light, and I like the underwing detail - well exposed. Sharpness looks good, and Im glad the bill is separated from the far wing. Love the two tone BG.

What's not to like, Doug? Light, details, wing position...all cracking!

Angle of approach, super eye contact, clarity and sharpness is perfect Doug. Liking a lot the light tones in th9is too, warm but not overly so...backdrop to die for.

Light quality is so nice! The image exudes your typical quality in regards to action stopping sharpness and details. The background is stellar. Randy has a good eye...it does feel a wee bit tight on the right hand side.

As much as the subject is something in itself, it's the BG that got my attention here...what a beauty of a frame!
