Nice Head angle, i like the perch
The birds stance is lovely and details on it are looking good
    Lovely BG in here
i only find that the birds beak is a bit OOF may be a higher F value would have helped like 7.1 or 8
    Sweet little bird

Very nice. Agree with Vish's critique. Love the layered BG.

Very nice! The beak is sharp enough for me. (I'm surprised you got that much in focus at f/5.6.)

I'm not sure the bright OOF rock on the left is adding a lot. It's attractive, but competes with the bird a bit. If you want to maintain the horizontal format you could take a little off the top and left.

I'd be tempted to try a gradient darkening on the left, and may be a slight dark vignette all around.

Beautiful image, Chris. I was wondering
if f7.1 or f8.0 would have been more beneficial as you had high enough speed to trop it down.

Beautiful. Had the bird's head been on a little straighter (i.e., less head turn towards us), d-o-f on the bill would not have been an issue. And the image would have been even more special.

Thanks for looking, and your comments, agree on the beak being a tad soft, these birds don't hang a round,I don't use a hide,so did not have time to alter settings.thanks again.

I'm really enjoying these wheatear images, particularly seeing the juvenile plumage.
The low angle is excellent, nice soft light quality, lichen covered rock perch is deluxe....actually, everything except the head angle is darn near perfect imo.
