Last Common Yellowthroat, for now. Right after this was shot a large black cloud rolled in; I got the gear into the car just before the deluge. BG is distant forest edge. Removed some whitewash on the perch. C&C always appreciated.

Excellent singing pose and nice neutral background, which makes the bird pop. I like the perch as well. In a perfect world the tail won't merge with the stump. Nice work, Bill.
I agree with the above comments, lovely weathered singing post with moss growing on it. Nice HA with good eye contact [always tricky with a dark eye and dark plumage]. Maybe a tad more sharpening?...........sorry I'm on a laptop and could be wrong.

Beautiful background and nice flash work. Nice HA and detail looks good. I think it's a cool perch but does seem just a bit large for this size bird IMO.
