Last Common Yellowthroat, for now. Right after this was shot a large black cloud rolled in; I got the gear into the car just before the deluge. BG is distant forest edge. Removed some whitewash on the perch. C&C always appreciated.

    Special one Bill
I can see the tongue from the singing beak, lovely exposure, and a classic BG
    Love the colours and details

Excellent singing pose and nice neutral background, which makes the bird pop. I like the perch as well. In a perfect world the tail won't merge with the stump. Nice work, Bill.

Beautiful pose , color, and exposure. Not to mention a great BG. Might clone out some of the catchlight?? Still a fantastic image.

I agree with the above comments, lovely weathered singing post with moss growing on it. Nice HA with good eye contact [always tricky with a dark eye and dark plumage]. Maybe a tad more sharpening?...........sorry I'm on a laptop and could be wrong.

Bill, Glad you got packed up before the rain!
Beautiful background and nice flash work. Nice HA and detail looks good. I think it's a cool perch but does seem just a bit large for this size bird IMO.
    Still a great image Bill.
