Lesser Goldenback Woodpecker
Woodpeckers have always caught my attention all the time , however i have not been very lucky with them
There are a few of them i was able to make images of and this one is of last year, i was clearing my archives and found this so thought of processing it
5D MII + 400 f2.8 +2x TC
ISO 800 ( the 5D II never gave me confidence of going above this) f 7.1 , 1/200

Made the vertical frame from a horizontal original

Very nice image, Vishal. I like the rich colours in the bird and the pose is nice. The bird has multiple catch lights in the eye.

Beautiful composition [crop] I love the details in the leaves. Good HA. Exposure looks spot on with great saturation. WOW the colors on the back of this woodpecker are fantastic. Very well done, Vishal!

Glad you found it , and TFS. Never saw one of these. Just a stunning bird. Might tone down some of the white spots in the BG. Still loving it.
