Haven't processed a landscape photo in some time, so thought I'd have a crack at one tonight.
Taken during our trip to the Southern Drakensberg earlier this year...single exposure, it was a misty morning and this was taken as the mist started to clear well after sunrise (sunrise was a dud, too much fog!).
Techs:
Nikon D800
Nikkor 24-70mm f2.8 @ 24mm
Kenko Pro CPL
f8.0 | 1/60 SS | ISO-400
Very Nice... I like the sunlight on the distant hills, the reflection (of the clouds especially..) on the lake and the nice lead the jetty provides into the image... they all combine nicely to draw you through the image. Think I have seen this lake before in a previous posting of yours?
thanks folks
Rachel - the same lake but I think it's a different dock...there were a few of them along the lake edge (used for fly-fishing).
It works nicely in monochrome too, will post it later in the week
