Some of them are had some of them are easier.
This one is an easier one.
Thanks for looking.

Marvelous image of beautiful bird on spectacular perch with calling pose.
Love the pose, colors, details, lights and lovely background.
Of course, great IQ and composition for this songbird.
Regards,
Satish.
Hi Karl, you have managed to capture the sparrow in full song, and love the line of the perch extending into the frame.
Cripes !....I can even see his tongue....lovely shot, great singing in full voice, and composition with the live branch is extra nice Karl. I wonder if the light is just a tad strong
Nice singing pose Karl. I like the bg and detail too
One after another with these pretty songbirds.
If you more above, I think moving the bird lower in the frame with some more above would look good.

Karl, there is a great deal to enjoy in this image.
I enjoy the perch, the singing pose, the light quality, size of the subject in the frame, background control, and
sharpness. If you obtained this image without use call playback (I don't see it mentioned), I'm impressed.
If the bird had angled it's head slightly towards you, this fine image would be even better imo.
Nicely done good action
Superb image Karl
Great IQ
the composition is something that takes it over the top, singing bird with a perch which is so beautiful
great BG
i love all parts of this one
Easier for you, maybe. I've been struggling to catch these guys, and they pop up behind me, or too far away, or only for 2 seconds before disappearing into the grass. Well done. Great pose, perch, BG. I could imagine toning down the brightness just a tad.
Thanks, Bill.
It all depends.
One day earlier it was a struggle.
I spent almost four hours there and did not really get a good shot.
Yesterday morning this guy was singing in the field on this perch when I arrived at 7:00 AM and was still singing on the same perch at 9:00 AM when I left.
For such a relatively faint song it amazes me how wide open these little Grasshopper Sparrows need to open their bills to let it out!! I'm liking the image alot for all the same reason's as Shawn, and I also agree that a slightly better HA would have put this over the top.
this is lovely. excellent singing pose, details, comp & BG.

Wow! They don't get any better than this. Well done!
Perfect comp and bg, nice work.
