    Another frame from the other evening, in between showers. Here again I cloned out a single blade of grass. This one was a little trickier, since it went partially across the wing.

    D7000, 700mm, ISO 1250, 1/500s @ f/7.1 manual, fill @ -1.7 EV, tripod. Audio.

    Another beautiful wet grassy surroundings. I do prefer the previous one to this, but it still has lots of appeal here.

    Very nice IQ, setting and pose. I love the piece of dry grass behind the bird.

    Hi Bill, well done on going vertical here, it suits the singing pose, and lines of the reeds. I do like the soft light, which in turn has exposed those difficult colours nicely. I also like how the piece of grass behind the bird follows the shape of the birds body. Well captured.

    Great calling pose, i love the way the bird is perched to
    the settings look sweet and the colours really are superb
    the soft light is superb, i love this one

    Like the grassy habitat Bill in particular the single seed head behind, singing pose is sweet...can almost hear him

    Just beautiful. The singing pose/eye level/habitat shown...very very nice.
    I pixel peeped for several minutes at the wing....your work is seamless.

    Bill this is really nice. I like how the bg is soft and pastel. I also love the calling pose and the gripping feet
