    Classic bird in flight on blue sky. Looks properly focused, just not sure if it is oversharpenend or not...wish to see the image bigger for better judgement on that. I could also see the subject higher in the frame than here. Super wings-down pose!

    Nice flight pose captured here, the colours look nice
    i agree with Daniel that the bird placed higher in the frame will look nicer to the eye
    i like the exposure on the wings here

    I like the pose very much. My comment to add to the others is to suggest using Nik Color Efex Detail Extractor at a low strength (less than 20%, suggest 12% - 15% as a place to start) on the shadow under the wing and on the legs / feet.

    I agree it is oversharpened that the bird looks grainy. Nice wing position and flight shot.

    Thanks for the comments. I've reprocessed the image taking into account the comments above. I'm not sure I've got the sharpening correct yet, although I did reduce the sharpening on this repost. Both the original and the repost don't look grainy to me here, but this might explain why I'm going to the optometrist tomorrow. If the sharpening is still off, any advice will be appreciated.
