    Default Swamp Sparrow

I always thought a more appropriate name for these guys would be "Marsh Sparrow", but this one was found near....a swamp!! Deasturated the leaves which were way too bright neon green/yellow out-of-camera. I like the hint of habitat those leaves/twigs bring to this image. Also toned down a few bright distractions in the BG.

I really like the pose and the log perch, and the foot position and details are nice. But, the light is a little harsh and the BG a little busy for me.

Very nice find and setting. I only wish for a bit more eye contact.

I would agree with Robert's comments on this one. Head on look of the bird is nice.

Considering that this was taken on an overcast day I'm surprised you think the light looks harsh? Perhaps the image as a whole is too bright, I will revisit the RAW file and tone it down some.
