This Myrtle's Yellow Rumped Warbler was photographed this past spring during migration in Northern Minnesota. Audio was used as an attractant.
Canon7d, Sigma50/500os, iso800, 1/160, cropped, NR on the background, selective USM to perch and subject. Perch was set up, hopefully more
correctly than my previous mossy perch... (I processed this image prior to learning about new size allowances on the site).
Comments and critiques always welcome.

Shawn Zierman.
Shwan;
Absolutely superb image. I like the nice perch with green moss and shape.
Bird is looking cute with lovely pleasant yellow color,nice details and sweet composition.
BTW very nice BG too.
Great looking shot Shawn. Love the mossy perch you chose. I liked the last one too but this one has a lot of character.
The bird is exposed well and very clear and sharp.I like the pose and the nice BG too. Well done.
