    Our only flowerpecker species here in Australia.

    with the perch here. Perch is wonderfully complex.

    Absolutely superb image of sweet flower pecker.Beautiful composition,nice lights,perch and composition.
    Bird looks like Fire breasted flower pecker found in India.
    Love the inquisitive pose of bird and glossy colors.

    Well balanced comp, great subject, and using Shawn's words the perch is "wonderfully complex". Perhaps toning down the thinner stem at left would be good.

    love the colours, sharpness and the bg. This does have a bit of resemblance to the fire breasted flower pecker we seein India
