Just got back from a weekend in St. Augustine. When not shooting with the BPN gang at the Farm, I ventured to find interesting photo ops. This was shot at the Fort Matanzas National Monument just South of St. Augustine.

I had perfect contrast conditions for IR.

    Hi Michael,
Very nice use of lines in this one. Originally wasn't sure about the bottom darkness...but it grew on me and balanced out well with the top. I did try a crop at the top of the black (bottom of first stair).......and that also looked very nice.......but I preferred the original. Very well done,

Nice meeting you this weekend Michael. I know exactly where you are at and IR is a good means to work that high-contrast situation. I like the composition but am undecided about the dark bottom. If it was me I would crop it out but am OK with it as presented. Nice work.

I very much like it as presented as the shadows just add another demention to this already striking image.
