    Default Summer Hoodie

They are not supposed to be where I live in June but a family is at my local pond.
I posted the juvenile male the other day, here is Dad (although he looks like a young Hoodie also).
Not sure what is going on, but a nice winter duck on a summer day for me.

Excellent profile picture of handsome bird.
Very nice details in beautiful colors, nice lights, green water with reflection of him and composition.
Love the feathers on head, golden eye and tiny water droplets on nick and back.
I think Head can take little bit sharpening.
    Love the frame.

    Regards,
    Satish.

Love the feather details, Dan. The duck looks like it has worn feathers which tells me that I had never seen them in this plumage in real life.

Nice to have an unusual situation to take advantage of! Father is not as neatly coiffed as Junior you posted earlier...signs of a tough breeding season eh! Nice greens here, and good details thoughout. I'm sure you have no more room at right as you would have surely included more there.

Beautiful detail and color. Great eye contact. I know the male mallards around my area are changing color and starting to molt.
    Good job
