Had the good fortune to photograph this nest a few years back in Fort Myers. Since I didn't have a long lens at the time, a good friend of mine allowed me to slip my card into his camera. Not an easy nest to shoot for a variety of reasons, but I was pretty happy when the male showed me his precious eggs for this capture. The eggs appears to large in comparison to the shorebird.
