Default Lens replacement foot for 600f/4?

Hello every one, I've been reading a little bit about a replacement feet for big teles like the 800 and 600 MK1, I have found RRS and Wimberly, but is there any one who is using/have used these brands with such lenses especially the 600?

what would be best for such lens? (more stability) I am not concerned about the weight of the lens foot since being so small is not going to make that much of a difference.

Thanks in advance for your help. have a great weekend!

i Juan I use the 5th generation lens foot on my 500 nice low profile that lowers the center of gravity when on the wimberly.

On my 600 I use the Wimberley replacement together with my WH-200 (only because in my opinion it makes the lens easier to handhold). On my 800 (on the contrary) I think that the replacement foot makes the lens more difficult to handhold so there I don’t use a replacement foot. In my opinion the difference in stability (when used together with the WH-200) is negligible but a major drawback with the Wimberley is that you can’t use the foot as a handle (it’s not “difficult” as the Wimberley site states – It’s impossible)
    Can’t speak regarding other brands.

I'm a big fan of the NatureScapes replacement foot; well built, easy to hand hold, and light weight.

I use (and like) the RRS replacement foot (I think the model is LC-50) on my 500/4 version 1. It is stable on my Induro GHB2 gimble and it easy to use as a handle.

I got the RRS for my new 600 II. I have the 5D3 but with the 1DX I'd be concerned that the dovetail doesn't extend back far enough. If I have a TC on I have to move the lens forward so I don't have the full length of the dovetail engaged. With a 1DX and a TC, especially the 2x, I'd be very concerned about being able to balance the lens with a sufficient grip of the dovetail. (Using a Wimberley II.)
