    Spotted Crake photographed whilst foraging in mud during a dry spell at my local wetlands - January 2013. Canon 1DIV, EF 600 f4L IS, 1.4TCIII, 1/2500, f7.1, ISO 1600, low tripod. Comments welcome.

    nice light, good pose and low angle. since the reflection is not very clear I'd go for a tighter crop

    Ah, Laratinga it seems ...very nice, sharp, shows the eye nicely and really like the golden water color in this, sits in the frame nicely too

    Nice low angle and pose on the bird. Exposure looks spot on and good colors in bird and that stunning water. At first I thought maybe a tad off of the right, but the more I look at it, the more I like it just as it is.

    I like the inclusion of the reflection, I just wish you had a bit more room below it (and a little less above) by pointing your lens down an inch or so more at time of capture. Nice walking pose, and the red eye stands out very nicely.
