    Hi There

    This is a shot of "Goose" a juvenile Bateleur Eagle in display at HCT.

    Adult Eagles have a striking black head and red beak but the young birds have a more golden brown colour. Goose is just starting to change as you can see his feathers getting much darker.

    Shot with my MKIII with the new 1.2.3 firmware loaded, and I was pleased to get focus on the head and like the way it drifts off at the wingtips, also the angle looking along the wings.

    Taken from the new tiered seating which puts you level with a lot of the birds as they fly over.

    Fantastic!!!! There is wonderful detail but oh momma.....is that head sharp. Another winner. You must have to spend the week downloading and editing your images from a shoot. Well done.
