Beautiful egret

I am still "living" out of the Florida's birds. I already went out four/five times here but the weather is awful and is really tough to get close to any bird in this period! Maybe a bit more of space around the bird would have done better but I like this bird. 1D MkIII + 600mm + 1.4 at 1/1000, f8, 400 iso.

Very well done with some beautiful breeding colors the only thing I can think of to make it better would be a tad more head turn.

I like the way the breeding plumage is set against the brilliant blue water. In addition to what Don had to say, I think the bird needs more room at the top of the frame.
