I'm finally getting back to working on my images from my Cades Cove trip in early May. I converted this to B&W in Lightroom then used Nik Silver Efex with a Fuji Neo pan ACROS 100 film to give it some grain. Then tweaked shadows and highlights.

I like the conversion and the diagonals running through the frame Cheryl.

Lovely composition with the buildings and the fence zigzagging off towards the hills. Nice B&W conversion and I like the detail throughout the image. Nicely done!

Beautiful, Cheryl I think if it were mine, I'd crop a bit from the lower portion of the image.

Cheryl, nice conversion process - it really does look like a film print. The buildings and fences make nice geometric patterns for the composition. Good job!

Hey Cheryl....very nice B&W composition. You might consider taking just a bit off the top!

I do like the treatment you gave this. When I first saw it, I thought it looked familiar and then remembered being there. Here is a photo I took from inside that house. Those historic buildings are interesting inside and out, aren't they.

Thanks for the inside view, Hazel! Unfortunately I didn't have a lot of time to explore but I'm planning on going back so I can really get into the feel of the whole place. Cade's Cove is wonderful.
