    Tried a 16 x 9 crop for this image. Does it look alright?
    Made with a Canon 450D + Sigma 150-500
    Exif : F6.3 / ISO 400 / SS 1/250 @ 500mm. Handheld / Aperture Priority / Eval
    Crop / USM / NR on BG.

    Really love the alert posture on this one, also the feathers show nice detail but still have a lovely soft look. Comp works just fine for me...good work!

    Very cool perch he is on and nice DOF with most of the sharp branches to the front.
    Beautiful details, especially on the Head.
    I think an inch off the right side to where the foliage is sharp would look nice.

    Beautiful portrait! Stunning background, pose, and thorny perch. I might increase the contrast just a bit and I could see a bit taken off the right side too.

    Lovely image, sweet BG, nice perch and pose. I'm with Mellisa for more contrast. On my iPAD, the image looks a bit bright and hence low contrast. As for comp, I feel the bird is a bit high in the frame and wish for a bit more headroom. A little more room on the right hand so not to clip the perch if possible. Loi
