Default RBW with a loose feather

This RBW arrived at my set up with a loose feather. Just a natural phenomenon, I suppose, as he did not act injured in any way.

    Very nice shot.
Great perch, wonderful background, and great pose.
Excellent details and I'm not sure on the lose feather. I like ,but them I don't. Hmm mm.
    Well done.

I like that feather too! You could perhaps just tone it down a little bit though, but not too much. Awesome perch, great that you found that to use for your setups. I like the dark BG. Techs, details, processing all good. I'd have preferred the subject a atd more to the left in the frame (pointing your camera to the right an inch or two).

Your setups are very nice although I think just a bit lighter BG would look good.
As all mentioned, a very nice perch and the feather makes it unique.

I think the feather adds some interest, I like it. I think toning it down just a bit, as Daniel suggests, is a good tip, so it doesn't pull the eye quite so much. Super IQ, details, and exposure.
