Hi Frank, super low angle of capture, and I really like how you have brought out the soft fluffy plumage. - cuteness factor all over this. Well timed to have the water droplet in the bill too. Comp wise, even though the little guy is looking downwards, its a feeding behaviour, so I would take at least half off the bottom.

Cuteness alert!!! Excellent detail ... agree with Stuart about less on bottom. Wish bird stood a little better against the BG.

    Beautiful sharp little chick.
I also agree about some off the bottom.
The chick stands out well enough for me...

    Great shot.
Great low angle, nice light, and the water drop in between it's beak is terrific.
    Well done.

Cute indeed, and this little guy looks like it is curiously observing something in the water. Exposure is spot on on the subject, I just wish the FG was not so bright (cropping off some of the bottom could help a bit with that), and I do find other parts of the BG distracting. I imagine that is food in its bill, I like that bit of interest there.
