    Default Myrtle Warbler

I've never thought that the name "Yellow-rumped" did justice to this common but lovely warbler. I prefer the sub-species name. I liked the branch and the almost tapestry-like BG in this one, so I cropped more loosely than I often do.

Hi Bill, I like the overall setting in this, with the warbler perched high on the main curved part of the perch. Well exposed and sharp, and that BG is a winner. I do wish however that the few twigs in the LLC werent falling out the frame, and ended inside the frame.

The warbler is perfectly sized in the frame for the setting / perch you have it on. Awesome comp as is too. Head angle is not bad, but it would have been killer had it been turned a bit towards us. Super nice image...

About a perfect comp and size in the frame for me, because the curving branch is so nice.
The BG really goes with bird very well.

Really lovely, artistic image, Bill. The background, the curving, knobby branches, your composition, and the colors all work so well together. Well done.
