I took this in my backyard this spring. I was trying out my new Lumix for its macro ability.

Hi Bob, lovely colors and I really like the cascading effect your perspective has given to the blossoms.

Bob this one works really well, I like the recession and the colours, good detail too. I have one in my back garden I hope to take some shots too.

Very nice composition and colors. Good sharpness and details. I have tried some images with beeding hearts but never got something good, so I think you did a fine job on this one. Not an easy job to shoot these flowers, in my opinion.

Very nice perspective here Bob. I would consider a slight CW rotation. IQ looks great. What Lumix did you get? I started photography with the FZ18 and liked it very much for macro in combination with a 2+ screw on lens.

Jerry...Thanks for your comment. My Lumix is the DMC- LX7. I purchased it because it can focus as close as 0.4 cm from your subject

Hi Bob. Beautiful colors, light, sharpness, DOF, and a nice comp. My only suggestion would be to remove the small white highlights in the ULC - they are just noticeable enough to draw my eye away from the spectacular flowers - a minor tweak to an excellent image!
