    Another beautiful shot.
I like the bit of green at the top of the frame that ties in well to the green nettles below.
Very nice diagonal line created by the nettles on the bottom of the frame. Excellent IQ and detail

Only a better head angle could have made this a better image (IMO). Fantastic setting with that vegetation at bottom, and the vertical comp works very well.

This is what came to my mind after viewing this image: "well-proportioned and therefore beautiful". Here proportion is accompanied by the pleasantness of colour, and especially the greens and the yellows. The light is also beautiful, the subject is sharp and a perfect pose. Great detail and IQ.

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

I chased this species for 5 long days last year and the closest I got was about 100 feet , how did you get so close ? Unusual composition for this species but it looks very nice especially with the smooth complimentary backdrop, I've only ever seen them aroung low samphite and saltbush regions.

Nice and sharp abnd the eye looks great, grea tone for the collection

Thanks Phil - they are quite nervy!
I actually went to the treatment ponds the afternoon before and couldn't get close.
So the next morning I found a road out the back of the ponds (near to where they were).
Luckily I found a small flock, draped the bag hide over me, and crept very slowly towards them.
I ended up getting to within about 15m and managed a few frames of a couple of birds before they scarpered!
    Cheers Greg
