    Hello everyone.
Early this spring I was able to photograph a pair of gadwalls.
After dropping as low as I could and being very still they came in pretty close.
    C&C welcomed and encouraged.

Beautiful feather detail and exposure in this shot. Nice preening pose and I like the clear eye and the tighter comp you have chosen to highlight this nice capture. Well done

David took the words right of of my mouth, nice bit of eye candy Robert, lovely oily sheen on the plumage, ans always like water fowl shots with a hint of blue water such as this

Great low angle and exposure. A bit tight in frame , but that is a matter of taste. Still a super image.

The female is a plain Jane but you have made her look as pretty as can be!
I like the wing position and the nice low POV. Nice to see a bit of the foot in the water,
    Gail

Hi Robert, good preening pose, especially that she has lifted her wing. Getting down low has turned out well, and I like the mix of blues and browns over the entire image.
