Just for fun, nothing serious or very clever. Just a scene from a local industry pine forest and dropped Little Red Riding Hood into the scene. I took a series of shots of the light breaking into the pine trees and lighting up lonely dead Eucalyptus trees, and wherever the light broke through was a patch of green...a natural in the spotlight effect. The enchanted/haunted forest look ?

Phil, this is very clever! I love the lighting and the tentative pose of Little Red Riding Hood.

You most certainly achieved the haunted forest look! The moment of capture is perfect with the light just on the dead, white tree, making the surrounding trees dark and foreboding. And adding Little Red Riding Hood put the tension and emotion into the forest.

Great light! Love the setting and the whimsey of LRRH placed into the scene. As and industry forest, are these planted trees? I guess the Eucalyptus were there first and never cut?

Thanks....yes these are commercially planted Pines, not a native to Australia at all, the dead trees I presume were already there and strange they were never removed at the time of planting all the straight rows of Pines

Phil, I like this image. The lighting is dramatic. The inclusion of Little Red Riding Hood is clever. Agree with Bob about toning down the grass a bit. Well done.

Hi Phil, add my kudos to the list - really nice work. I love the mystery and tension of the image. The few splashes of color against the drab tones of the rest of the scene really add to the emotion. Love the tiny figure. She might be thinking "my, what a big camera you have".
