    Like the blue showing , certainly a lot different than our Magpies over here. Nice timing with the wings, and sharp focus for sure. Backdrop is nicely uniform, I might consider cropping a little more from the bottom

    Well caught Joe - good timing, very good detail in the darker plumage. I would place the bird a fraction lower in the frame, the background is unobtrusive and contrasts well with the subject.

    Yes Phil, they are a lot different than the Australian Magpie, these are just a bit bigger than the Magpie-lark/Peewee.
