I like the wing spread and the "dancing" effect.

Beautiful landing pose, nice wing spread, raised foot and golden reflection, though the dark reflection does not appeal.

    Regards,

Have to love those golden color tones, liking a ;lot the dancing on water look, lovely wing spread...just a slight shame about the large grey bands behind.....but a great image just the same with a lovely mood to it

The light and water color here are beautiful and a very interesting pose. Unfortunately all the reflective lines are a big distraction for me.

While there may be a few distractions here, I find it to be quite an impressive image. I love the open wing stance and the color of the water. The exposure on the bird is spot on. You didn't use any flash here?

    Thanks Mariana.
I did not use flash on this shot, I used +0.7 ec. as the bird was running in an out differently lit areas. I think flash would have been helpful in this shot, so I brought it out the following weekend, along with a tripod . Unfortunately the Egret did not show up, But a Spoonbill was happy to let me take his picture. I really enjoy that Lagoon, Its inly 10 miles from work, I will get that picture right, if it quits raining.
