Nice composition. The tongue and eyes make it for me.

Lovely image Arno, the pose looking up with the tongue out is great, nice detail and well exposed. I may look at a more 16:9 crop to loose some of the space on top, as well as lightening up the eyes just a tad and maybe just a little more colour. I did a quick RP below to give you an idea.

Nice angle here, Arno, and good view of the lapping tongue and alert amber eyes.
I like what Brendon did in his RP, though I would be tempted to lift the overall exposure a bit more? Will have to look at the actual histogram at home tonight.
Looking forward to more of your posts and feel free to engage in the discussion on the photos of others!

Hi Arno - nice detail and sharpness. Brendon's repost has taken it up a notch. I would apply some NR to the bg.

Great moment of capture with the tongue out and the eyes looking up! I like Brendon's repost but would probably crop it somewhere between that one and the op.
