    A lot to like here Tom. Nice pose, beautiful water, and some great habitat. My issue is that the bird is in the shade and the BG is in the sun. Here's a repost that attempts to balance out the tonalities of the subject and BG. How do you like it? FYI your images can be 1200 pixels wide but only 900 tall; yours is 1024 pixels high.

    Tom, that's a wonderful capture. I think Doug's rendition is a nice improvement to balance out the image.

    Lovely bird and pose. Doug's RP addresses the BG competing with the bird. Image needs a slight bit of CW rotation.

    Lovely scene you had here, and Doug's tweaks have really made it shine. Great colours and I like the vertical comp.

    I really like the water and background colors.
