    Default Eastern Blue Bird

This is the male from the same pair I posted last time.

I have certainly missed the window to get another feeding shot but the male is feeding the female on the eggs so diligently that I get a lot of opportunities to shoot him bringing back food.

Shooting under the canopy with a good SS is proving to be tough with the Noise 7D produces.

What do you all think about this one?

7D+500mm F4+1.4X, ISO 800, F8, 1/160, Sharpening action , some NR, extra arm on the branch removed.

This is wonderful! I'm on an iPhone so can't comment on detailed IQ but I love what I see here!

Lovely pose, great with Bug in beak, nice and sharp and beautiful eye...composed in frame nicely and great simplistic composition...on my monitor it does seem a bit bright though with the blue back reflecting light a bit too much, might also tone town the bright perch a little more

    Lovely image Amol,
I love the IQ on this one, great perch, superb details on the bird and a classic smooth BG
The slight head turn is great and the catch in the beak puts it up more
The image in some areas looks bright and may need a bit toning down, or may be add a few points of black which can balance it
Over all a fantastic image, with great quality

    Great Bird,
Awesome BG + Catch is adding more beauty to it
thinking on the sharpness is bit more from my point of view.
    rest of all is Awesome.

I'm impressed with the IQ at such a slow SS. bg is beautiful and the bug really adds to the image. Nicely done!

Very nice details in this bluebird and the prey is a huge plus. It's nice to see those tootsies and you have a lovely BG. I would prefer a little less on the bottom and more space on top.

Great photo! I like the head tilt, catchlight, and the prey. I also like the perch. Very sharp.
