    North of India does have a few species of Jays, this one is the black headed jay

    This is a new species for me as well. Great pose showing all that feather detail under the throat. Very nice!

    Wow...great shot. I don't recollect seeing a shot of this bird before. loved the pose, sharpness, BG and comp. good call on the techs. Well done.

    I wish it was looking a tad more towards the camera, but a fine photo.

    I rather like the upturned head and excellent eye clarity, impressive presentation of the neck feather striations, smooth backdrop.....a little more dof would be nice, but obviously you were very close and already at f8 so that's expecting a bit much
