    Hi Ian, nice capture of the little Dunlin. The image as presented is rather small, was this a large crop? I'm not making out a lot of detail in the feathers, could just be my tired eyes! It's best to try to find your subjects in clean areas of the water, but I know it is not always possible. This water is a little lumpy and the reflection is a bit "out of the box". Techs are solid - good exposure and color rendition. A tad contrasty to my eye.

    Ian,

    I like this shot and the lumpy background (subjective but works for me) and I agree with Kerry 100% regarding the detail..at 1/3200..should be sharp! Assume you are HHing and bracing the lens..remember 700MM needs lots of stability we are talking about tiny..critical..feather detail...work on this!!!
