Default Fancy a "Big Snack" honey...??

Been working on my annual Kingfisher projects a lot lately.
After the first nesting attempt failed after the chicks had hatched and then died because of the cold weather they now seem to be ready for another round..

The saga continues...or at least so it seems..

    greetings,

    Jeroen Stel

Absolutely beautiful, I really like the lighting, the poses and composition - everything ...right down to the perch - knockout!

    This is awesome.
I love the interaction and the dramatic lighting and black BG. The perch is STUNNING!
the IQ is terrific on both birds.
My only suggestion would be to try and darken/blend/blur the lighter round circles below the left hand bird.
IOW I think!...and it is only Monday!!

Excellent setup. A native fish? or goldfish?

Jeron, send it to some contests. It can go places....lots of impact and technically perfect. so many things to like here. If mine, I'd have taken a tiny bit off the bottom.

Very nice! The light was so nice that it looks like it was shot in a studio. Great setup shot.

I would also darken the light spots in the BG.
    Terrific photo of the birds.

How I wish I could get such a beautiful KF image! I might try to darken the brighter spots a bit, while still keeping them visible.

Tremendous image! The colours pop nicely against the dark BG. I agree in reducing the brighter circles' impact, and I'd have preferred the subjects a bit lower in the frame...but this is a major WOW image!

"Master piece" of lovely interaction. Every thing is just perfect in the beautifully composed image.
