    Mike,

Technically a very nice image (detail, exposure, color, etc). The open beak is definitely a plus!

However, the bg branches are a bit distracting. Should be a fairly easy fix in PS.

Sweet little bird with a nice singing pose.
I like the light, the diagonal created by the perch and the BG above the bird.
I find all the twigs on the left and below the perch distracting. I understand wanting to leave them there to show the environment they live in but they distract.
    Exposure as perfect as usual!

Great exposure here Mike, love the details on the bird and the open bill is added attraction

A great shot of a wonderful species. I might crop closer to have less OOF limbs in the LLC

Nice shot with great techs and detail. I agree with Allan about cropping a bit tighter to reduce the branches in the LLC. Great capture

Beautiful bird in a very typical setting for the species. I enjoy the singing pose and splayed tail feathers.
Subject isolation and composition, particularly bird size in the frame, work well imo.

The OOF branches in lower left corner don't do much for me, but I like the singing pose, perch, and BG. Awesome details too.

Great pose, head angle, singing moment, etc. by the bird. The OOF branches are OK with me, because they go to environment that these little guys are so often in, but at the same time you got the bird almost completely unobstructed. Needless to say the tech aspects are excellent. (Nice seeing you guys at the Alligator Farm again earlier this year.)
