    Default Common Yellowthroat, male

Took this in Point Pelee in my of 2008.
While looking for a YB Chat I ran across this warbler.
Never did catch up with the Chat.

The first thing that caught my eye was the framing of the bird by the tree branches. I like it. Nice background and soft light as well. Nicely done.

This was actually taken in 2010 with my 50D. It was in my Pelee 2008 folder for some reason.

I really like your choice of the size of the bird in the frame. Sweet sense of habitat.

Excellent inclusion of habitat and the bird looks nice and sharp.

Sweet bird and habitat, nice processing. I love the texture of the tree. The only thing is that I would have liked the camera pointed up a bit more to place the subject lower. All-in-all pretty sweet though!

Love the visual harmony given the amount of the scene you took in here in a non-set up perch
scenario. Technically difficult to pull off and you did that in spades here imo.

Thanks, Shawn. I saw the Chat go down near where this photo was taken and so I pished and up popped this bird. Really wished it was the Chat.
