I went back to the same spot I found two SASP yesterday. I made sure this time that he landed where I wanted him to land. Song was used as an attractant. Thanks for looking. Canon 1D MIV Canon 500 f4.0 L IS ISO 400 1/1250 s f 7.1

Sweet image Karl I like much better than last one which did look a little cut and paste.
Not keen on the rhs branch end though.

    Wonderful shot Karl.
Terrific pose, very nice perch, wonderful background and excellent details.
The only nit is that it looks like you ran NR on the right upper flowers and branch.
They look a little odd making them a slight distraction.
    Other than that.
    Very well done.

    Karl,

You're killing it with these songbirds!

The branches in the top right do look very odd. Like Robert mentioned, it looks like there was noise reduction or blurring in that area.

Thank you Richard, thank you Robert. Robert, I might have used noise reduction on those flowers, I'm not sure as I used the magic wand for selection. Some of the flower areas probably got included. Richard, I removed a branch from the right but I'm not sure if it was the one you were referring to.

Sweet image of this guy. Great pose with perfect head turn. I also noticed something a little funky about the oof flowers - either some blurring or NR? The repost helps minimize the issue.

Like the head angle and the way the image is composed. The flat Bg brings out the bird very well.

Thanks Satish. I tried on this one. I like the horizontal better.

Sweet shot Karl. Love the framing of the flowers, head angle, and background. (The repost looks better in regards to the back group of flowers). I would love to catch a bird on such a nice perch!
