    I was looking for bluebird and was playing their song from the capr, when ono of this birds came close to investigate.

    Lovely image Karl, bird on a nice perch open bill and tack sharp focus , perfect.

    There is a spot on the top edge 90 degrees to the bird head which is bit different , may be it is different or may be a left over of some masking not sure.

    However i love the pose you have captured of this bird.

    Thanks Vishal, letting me know. I decided to clone out the extention of the perch (a little dead tree) as it looked like coming right out of the head. I'll fix it right now.

    Great photo. I like how the bird is isolated from the background. I have a hard time getting them not covered by leaves! Very nice and sharp. I like that the bird is singing.

    Hi Karl, A nice capture of a singing Savannah sparrow, I love the BG, exposure, and the sharpness of most of the bird...the head looks a bit oversharpened on my monitor, and I find the perch a bit awkward as well. I would have liked to see even a couple of toes from the other leg.

    What a wonderful colors of bird and contrast BG colors???
