Nice low level image, the sharpness is spot on, the open wing position adds a great deal to the image
I love the 2 coloured background
    great execution

In case i want to change something in here i may try to clone the bright white and the black pebbles on the right.

Good idea Vishal. I was in the frame of mind with this shot that I wasn't cloning anything out but agree that it would help the image!

Sweet image! Perfect exposure and a nice slice of habitat that shows off where he was hanging out but doesn't over power .

I recently shot my first Black-bellied plover. Now I know how I will try and do it next time! Beauty of a shot. The outstretched wing is perfect!

    Yes to the critiques noted,
A fine image, I have never seen These plovers in person, I like everything about their ratty look.
Superb angle and your IQ is first rate as usual.

Very good approach with this one. As mention above, the pebbles can go darker but just a tad. Did you use fill flash or just natural light for this one?

Great low angle shooting, nice details, sharpness, wing position, eye' Love the surf coming in. If there is anything I would suggest, I think the bird is a bit too center for my taste. Do you have more canvas on the right? Well done. Loi

Terrific low and blacks and whites looks terrific, as does the wing flap you captured. Details in your feathers are amazing. I like the pebbles b/c they help to ground the image.

Hi Gail, Very well exposed and tons of feather detail in this one. Love the pose and the HA. I also like the gradient BG with the surf in it. Another great shot!!

Nice one, Gail. I like how the shore wraps around the bird. Fine job.
