    My Bad luck with Wood Ducks ended with this -

    7D, 500mm +1.4 II, 1/2000, 5.6 ISo 640, NR on the BG selective NR on bird.Sharpening action

    A nice sharp capture Amol, with all those gorgeous Wood Duck colours. You've got good eye contact although I find the eye a bit over saturated in the reds. Nicely done.

    It appears as though your bad luck turned to good and your patience surely paid off with this wing flap. Sooner or later, the behavior usually happens...if you have the patience to wait it out. Love the flap, the colors of the bird, the water spray and the BG. Wish the water were a bit more attractive and less blotchy to better showcase this amazing bird and behavior.
