    Popularly known as the Egyptian Vulture, this is classified as an endangered specie by IUCN.
    Made in my hometown Bangalore with a Canon 450D + Sigma 150-500. Handheld.
    Exif : F6.3, ISO 200, SS 1/1000 @ 500mm. Aperture Priority / Eval.
    Levels / Cropped from Horizontal / USM / NR on BG.

    Must have been very cool to see an endangered bird! IQ looks very good. I'd crop in about 1/3 from the top. I like the "mane" around the head.

    Great shot.
    This has to be one of the best looking vulture species that I have seen.
    Terrific pose, great IQ, and nice comp.

    Very unique looking bird and really liking that look-back pose and the vibrant colors. Background (BG) needs a little noise reduction (NR).
