    One from this week it's on it's 2nd brood this year and all looks well as this is the coldest spring in 30 years hear in the UK.

    Hi Phil. Nice and sharp head, beak, eyes etc, pity about the legs, but its hard to get sufficient DOF to suit this pose. The water? looks interesting, where does the colour come from? DON

    Hi Don it is merely the reflection of spring leaves that over hang the river.

    Beautiful bird and very nice image.Colors and details looks good.Sharp where needed.
    If mine,For this pose of bird I will go for vertical composition like this.I hope you don't mind.

    I prefer the OP b/c of the rock and all the gorgeous water. I just wish for a lower shooting angle but not sure it was possible.
