Hi Folks, This White-winged Dove stting on a Prickly Pear (ouch!) cactus when visiting our garden this morning at 9:30 AM is looking for one of your usual learning critiques . . . if only I would write those good tips down . . . Gus :)

With a diagonal pose like this almost cutting the photo in half diagonally, it is usually best to leave a little more space around the subject either above or below......but, that's only my opinion.
Gus you are not writing all the info down in full detail :eek:......... that will be twenty lashes !!!!!! :D:)
I like it a lot Pretty bird sure like the eye !!! Good exposure and interesting perch Suns was fairly high in the sky so part of the bird is its own shadow. Best solution fill flash Would have made a difference Do like it as presented. Don't mind the selected crop If anything would have a little more space on the right !!!
Thank you very much for looking at my photo ~ adding a bit more room and fill flash I'll have to remember, or 20 lashes :D I must write all these suggestions down, as going from ID photos to artistic is a goal I would like to accomplish.
